30 years as a winemaker, a taste for the craft of growing vines; you don’t need any more to dare to try and create the best chardonnay in the world?

Thanks to the backing of 150 partners, 150 ares of land on a south-facing slope were planted with vines (Chardonnay and Chenin) at a density of 10,000 vines per hectare.

A draught horse was used to help prepare the land.

A yield of 50 hectolitres a hectare (600g of grapes per vine) allows the crop to mature fully.

The crop is hand picked and sorted and then tuned into wine, kept and stored in barrels in the vaulted cellar that belonged to François Guimbelot, a grower from the early 19th century.

But to say any more is unnecessary ? your tasting of the wine is all that matters!
